Angelos Gkrantounis is a Director of Photography based in Thessaloniki, Greece
His work ranges from narrative films to engaging commercials, all revolving around the same principle, the love for visual storytelling.
He has been an undergraduate in Film School, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki since 2021 and is now in his last year. Since 2021, Angelos has worked on many different projects as both a Director of Photography and Camera Assistant.
As a passionate cinematographer with a clear vision, Angelos is able to work in any creative environment under pressure. His problem-solving skills allow him to be a useful presence in any production. Experienced in the visualization of ideas and working in a collaborative manner in order to produce images that last.
His love for photography developed in his first trip, while still being in primary school, where he tried to capture his surroundings. Since then, it’s been nothing but excitement to create, love for the people he works with and dedication to his craft.
